About Us

Who are we?

We are two engineers who have over 35 years combined industry experience , we have both worked for other fire protection companies for numerous years but took the plunge to set up and start trading under our own company name in January 2022.

We both wanted to work to our own vision and standards within the fire protection industry.

Our aim is to provide a personal and professional service to our customers, with help and advice gained from years of industry experience.

We look after a wide range of clients from small shops to large corporate businesses , we treat all our clients the same no matter the size so you can be assured of a personal and professional service.

Frank Martin - Director

Frank has been in the industry since 1993, starting of as a fire extinguisher engineer then adding kitchen suppression system servicing, dry riser maintenance and then fire damper testing to the list of services he offers.

Frank is based in Kirkcaldy Fife.

Duncan Gibb - Director

Duncan has been in the industry since 2015 starting of as an extinguisher engineer, he later added fire damper testing, dry riser maintenance, kitchen suppression servicing and fire door inspection to the list of services he offers.

He has also completed fire risk assessors course.

Duncan is based in Perth. Perth and Kinross

Fire damper testing and inspection

We offer annual inspection of your fire dampers, provide comprehensive reoprts including photographic evidence that fulfill your legal obligations, we also follow up on any non conformances and carry out remedial work.

Kitchen suppression.

We can install and service your kitchen suppression system.

We work with our customers to ensure that any service or installation visits are carried out to the highest standards and with minimal disruption.

Most systems require 6 monthly services to keep them maintained inline with manufacturers recommendations.

If you are unsure of what system you have or what type of system you require, we will be happy to guide you through.

Dry Riser Testing

We are IFEDA qualified to carry out annual wet testing and six monthly inspections of your dry risers to comply with BS9990:2015.

We provide comprehensive reports and photographic evidence of the 12 bar wet test being carried out.

We also follow up any non conformances and carry out remedial work.

Fire extinguisher Maintenance

We carry out annual maintenance visits to ensure your fire extinguishers are kept serviced and maintained to BS:5306 standards.

We also install new equipment in buildings and can quote from either site visits or drawings.

providing the most cost effective soloution for you and your business.

Fire Hydrant Testing.

If you have a private fire hydrant installed on your property, it is a legal requirement to have it tested anually. Regular servicing & maintenance of hydrants is a requirement to comply with BS9990:2015.

We carry out annual pressure and flow testing of hydrants, provide detailed reports and carry out remedial works if required.

Fire Risk Assesments.

The legal duty which is imposed by the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005, seeks to achieve safety in the event of a fire.

The responsibility for compliance, lies with the employer and other persons who have significant control over the premises.

A well thought out fire management system and fire risk assessment is a solid foundation for any business to build there fire safety strategy on.

We can carry out a fire risk assessment of your premises, provide a supporting document and then follow up on and guide you through the rest of the process.

Our assessor have years of experience and are qualified to GIFireE , BSC graduates IOSH MIIRSM.
